The Trials
We have her. As of Thursday Emely has full custody of Cainia. Every day now since the last trial I have watched the stress drain slowly from my partner. She has bathed her granddaughter in love, healing her, bringing her back to life after the neglect. All the time, although she rarely mentioned it, at the back of Emely's mind was the idea that Cainia could be snatched away from her and thrust back into the same conditions. We are overjoyed. We did not ask for this job, did not even see it coming, but Cainia is a gift and worth all of the hard work. This is just a short entry but I intend to go further into detail about the trials and the whole process. I will be sharing statistics and help full references. we would like to thank our Advocates at the Family Law Center. Their number is: 510 272 1393. There is help out there. Your not alone.

Hello Ben,
ReplyDeleteYour narration of the events in Cainia's life is very nice. It makes me feel like I am right there watching Emely and Cainia. I agree it is a small post, so I don't know what else to comment.
Regards.
I have really enjoyed reading your posts. The wording is very creative and descriptive. It paints a lovely picture of family :) I would love to read more about the process, and I think it would be insightful to others going through the same situation. I think this blog is great, and you should keep at it. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteThe foundation of your blog is very supportive to others who are in a similar situation. By sharing your story and encouraging viewers that they too can do it sparks hope and is inspiring. Perhaps you should do a post on a little background information on how your current situation became like this.
